Basic Information
Our Mission Statement
At Lote Tree we bring like minded families together to cultivate an environment where children engage in academics, spirituality, exploration, creativity, and fun. Our homeschool co op based in Newberrry Florida is set on 6 acres of greenery. It provides children with a space to run, play, and be in tune with nature. At Lote Tree, education is our focus and we want children and families to enjoy the road to a well rounded education. We believe that small groups, especially at a young age, allow for learners to have a more personalized and meaningful learning. It's important to guide children on a path where they love learning. While on the road to an excellent education we aim to build character based on faith, kindness, honesty, citizenship to community, country and humanity as a whole.
Academics and Classrooms
Each of our academic classrooms may have 4 to 8 students which allows for individualized attention and small group lessons. Academic classes are taught by teachers who have been certified and have at least 10 years of teaching experience. The classrooms are multiage and have at least 2 back to back grade levels (with the exception of 8th grade). Math is taught per the grade level of each student.
The teachers follow a curriculum which meets the state standards for all students.

Tuition and Fees
Families pay an average of $800 per month per student. This amount goes towards costs needed to maintain the educational structure at the co-op. Monthly tuition is collected on the first of the month. Scholarships are available through the application process. There is a nonrefundable application fee of $300.
Parental Involvement
LTA thrives on the help and volunteer hours from each of our families. In order to create a wonderful communal environment we ask that each family commit to volunteering 4 hours a week. A schedule is given to parents prior to the school year and families choose time slots/days that are convenient.
Electives
Afternoon electives are run by parents.
Islamic classes are given in small halaqa type groups where students can learn and discuss. We also hold once a month Ihsan workshops to encourage positive character building based on the sunnah of our prophet SAW.
Recreational electives are highly anticipated by students and parents as well! Aside from Art and PE, some of our unique electives include Archery, International Cooking, Glass Mosaic, Walking in Nature, Sewing and others.
